The Hahl Pnuematic master clock formerly ran all the interior clocks using a system with bellows and closed tubing to advance the other "slave"clocks in the building.

Several incomplete gas fixtures and lines can be seen throughout the courthouse, but this lamp is in original, working condition. Although the courthouse has original electric lights, several gas lights were also installed – possibly as a backup lighting source.
